Dubai History:

The basis of the modern and high-tech Dubai city was laid back in the late 1830s by the Baniyas family, and later the Maktoum family, who resided in the city. After the British left in the late 1970s, a major reformation of the borders occurred, with Dubai combining the adjacent Emirates of Abu Dhabi, Umm Al Quwain, Sarah Ajman and Fujairah to form the UAE (United Arab Emirates).

Burj Al Arab:

The Burj Al Arab is  a point of attraction for all the visitors to Dubai, as it has been recognized as the best seven star hotel in the world and is uniquely located on a palm-shaped artificial island. The architecture and the surroundings of the Burj Al Arab are very fascinating and visitors are always in awe of this amazing sight.

The major growth in the city’s infrastructure started in the 20th century on the basis of the revenue generated from the trade of crude oil that stands as the backbone of the Arab countries. Dubai city is an alluring blend of modern and ancient cultures and lifestyles.

Bastakiya Quarters:

This old district, known for its tall wind towers and narrow lanes gives tourists a special glimpse of old Dubai.

Grand Mosque:

Located in the creek on Bur Dubai side, and adjacent the Ruler’s court, this awesome mosque was re-built in 1998, and with an height of 70 meters, it achieved the title of the city’s tallest minaret.

Dubai Museum:

When you will enter this historic place you will come across a great collection of old maps displaying urban development of Dubai from 1960 to 1980. This museum offers an exhibit of traditional Arabian Homes, as well as a unique trip into desert life, fishing, mosques, trade and pearl diving.

Tourists love to learn about the historical weapons such as spears, swords, shields, bows and arrows, axes and pistols that were used in the wars of bygone eras.

Burj Al Arab:

This place is famous throughout the world as the World’s only Seven Star Hotel.  Built on an artificial island, the accommodation is expensive, but the view of the hotel from afar is priceless!

Jumeirah Mosque:

This historic place is situated at the northern end of Jumeirah beach road. The beautifully carved architecture represents all the hallmarks of Modern Islamic style.   

BurjKhalifa:

BurjKhalifa is the tallest building in the world, with an altitude of 800 meters. Its distinctive pyramid shape add to its height, to make it one of the most fascinating structures in the world.
